Really excited to see joe corvo and the boys pick apart the devils tonight

I hope it's nothing bad. However my feeling is that it's just a confident coaching staff keeping a guy out a few extra days. The rookie has slotted in well. And Bobby on the 4th line has some chemistry with JJ. Plus, in a short season, a healthy and rested big man like Zubrus just feeds this team later on.

The Devils look like the Spurs of the NHL.

As I make a return to this site, I thought I'd throw this out there:

Which team in the East can beat THIS Devils team playing like THIS 4 times in a series?

I only have Boston and maybe Pittsburgh as options.

I was thinking more of a concussion with is being "upper-body." Though who knows, a really bad case of lice could prolly knock a guy out of the lineup.

Dainius Zubrus' upper-body injury will be reevaluated by team doctors in the next couple of days.
"I'd rather be safe than sorry," GM Lou Lamoriello said. "We'll see what happens as soon as the doctors evaluate him at the appropriate time and they know more." Until the tests are complete the Devils don't want talk about the severity of the ailment, which is suspected to be to his back.

Lock down Skinner and we should be able to get this one. He's crazy good, did anyone see his goal against Philly??

There's also a guy named Alexander Semin, who is picking it up, and both Staals. This will not be a picnic. Cam Ward is also capable of being a wall. I know he's been shaky this year so far, but few goalies have had the starts to a career that he's had. He's still an amazing goalie.

I can't help but think we're doomed.

Carolina has had a shaky start but they are a good team.If the Devils put in a 60 minute effort we can win. If we look past Carolina (Philly is next) they will make us pay the price. Carolina has hurt us in the past.

I've been there TWICE when the Canes have ousted the Devils from the playoffs. It was not fun. I have a special dislike for the team.

Especially when they took them out in game 7 from the 2 goals in a short span right at the end of the game.
